And large pipe is not a problem with nominal pipe sizes ranging up to 48 inch in standard and up to 2-inch wall thickness. Unlike traditional mills that depend on coal or gas heating, thermal pipe expansion is a clean process that wastes very little energy and has a startup and shutdown period of only 30 minutes, saving costs and the environment.
